I am hoping to sell some broken jewelry that is made of fine gold. In total, the weight is around 7 ounces. Is the value according to weight or type of gold? Should I go to a jeweler, pawn broker or gold buyer, or someplace like ebay? Thanks.

Hogwash. They don't pay squat. There's a place in town that pays much more, and even some online. Cascaderefining.com. But I've found others online that pay almost 80% more than them. Shop around.

Before you sell your jewelry, just do your research first on internet, because you can get more cash for your jewelry than you’ve expected. You can find online jewelry buyer that offer good cash for jewelry.
